Lots of cheaper masks use polyester satin. It looks similar in photos, but it traps heat and feels slippery-hot by morning. Silk stays cool, smooth and breathable.

How dark does it get?
Very dark. Because it wraps round, it blocks the light that leaks in at the sides of flat masks. For a sealed, total blackout at the nose too, see the 3D Blackout mask.
Will it fit my head?
Yes. The hook-and-loop fastening adjusts to any head size, with no elastic.
Does it stay on if I move around?
Yes. The wide cushioned band grips gently all the way round. The fastening can feel stiff at first and softens after a night or two.
Is it warm to wear?
It’s padded and cosy, which most people love. If you run very hot in summer, the 3D mask is lighter.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash in cool water with a mild, silk-safe detergent and let it air dry. Don’t tumble dry or use harsh products.
