Is Our Bamboo Bedding Really More Sustainable Than Cotton, Even if It’s Shipped From China?
Absolutely, and here’s why.
Although our bamboo bedding is made in China, we ship it using slow freight by sea, which is one of the most carbon-efficient transport methods available. Sea shipping emits up to 26 times less CO₂ per mile than road transport. It’s so efficient that we could ship our bedding around the world five times and still produce less carbon than trucking a cotton sheet from Europe to the UK.
And that’s just the transport part. The material itself is far more sustainable:

Customers placing a bamboo bedsheet pre-order may receive a complimentary bedding hygiene spray as part of this promotion.
The free item is conditional on the bedsheet order being completed and kept. The complimentary spray will be dispatched with the bedsheet. If a bedsheet order is cancelled before dispatch, the free item will not be sent.
If a bedsheet order is returned for a refund after dispatch, the complimentary spray must also be returned unused. If it is not returned, we reserve the right to deduct its retail value from the refund.
